Over the course of the last 18 months we have been fundraising at our various shows and events across Northern Ireland for the fantastic “Guide Dogs” Charity and we are delighted to have raised an initial £5000 which has allowed us to name a puppy called Jones. It is our ambition to keep the drive on and hopefully in 2024 we will get to name a 2nd pup.

James digs deep for Homeless Charity this Christmas.

-

Rosemount House provides sheltered and professionally supported accommodation for those seeking continued recovery from various addictions and associated mental health issues. The purpose is to secure suitable independent accommodation and eventual reintegration within the community. The “restorative” rehabilitation programme is 18 – 24 months.
Charlie McGarry manager of the centre said " This is a fantastic act of generosity from James and everyone at the centre is delighted he has made this kind donation to our centre ."

JMG Music Group led by James McGarrity, working with a host of top stars, promotes around 300 shows all across the UK and Ireland annually. On a recent tour in the UK seeing so many disadvantaged people, James really felt the need to do something for a local homeless charity this Christmas.
James said " Over the course of the last few months I have travelled all across the UK on various tours and in every city and town we worked, there was a serious problem with homeless people sleeping on the streets , all ages and all creeds, I saw homelessness can affect anyone. One evening around 5.30pm in South Shields I saw a few homeless people waiting outside shops until they closed and locked up, then they dived to the doors to salvage the last bit of heat to keep warm which really sent a shockwave through my body. I have noticed the homeless numbers growing and I thought this year I am going to do something to help. I believe if you can give something this Christmas for those less fortunate, then do it. I had a tour of Rosemount House when presenting the cheque and the work that Charlie, Glenda and all the team do is inspirational. I'm delighted that JMG Music Group can help spread a little bit of joy this Christmas in this season of goodwill and support those less fortunate."

Business of the Year 2014

I am writing to thank JMG Music Group for your continued support of the Irish Hospice Foundation over the past few years – we are so grateful to you for giving us the opportunity to hold raffles at your concerts in 2019 and they have helped us to raise much needed funding for our work and services. The Irish Hospice Foundation is a national charity striving for best care at end of life for all. We believe that everyone should receive the care and support they need as they face dying, death and bereavement. We work in every county in Ireland and rely almost entirely on voluntary fundraising like those raised at your concerts through holding raffle to support and maintain this work.

The Irish Hospice Foundation

I am writing to thank you  and all at JMG Music Group on behalf The Irish Hospice Foundation for supporting John O’Gorman and Colin Healy in their fundraising drive this year. Your generous support makes a huge difference to the vital funds we need to raise each year.  Your generosity and kindness are much appreciated.

Just to give you some further information on The Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF). The IHF is a national charity working for best care at end-of-life and in bereavement. We believe that everyone should receive the care and support they need as they face dying, death and bereavement. One of the services that your donation will support is our Nurses for Night Care programme. This service provides nursing care, practical support and reassurance for people and their families in the last days of their life in their own home. The service is available in every county so you are helping families in communities across Ireland. We rely almost entirely on voluntary fundraising to support and maintain this work.

This year more than ever your generous donation is so important to the IHF as we are seeing a marked increase of approximately 20% in  the demand for one of our most vital services –Nurses for Night Care. This coming year the IHF need to raise over €750,000 to provide this service to all those that need it - this wouldn’t be possible without the support of people like you.

Wishing you a lovely Christmas and New Year.
