Thainstone Music Festival

2nd - 3rd June 2023

Thainstone Country Music is back and the 5th event will feature a host of well known national and local acts who will perform at the popular Inverurie venue. The venue is located 10 miles north of Aberdeen airport and has many hotels in the locality.

We are delighted to announce our very first of what will be an annual "Hills of Donegal" Country Music Festival and will take place in the fantastic Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town set in the heart of the North West County which is a venue steeped in a strong IRISH Country Music Tradition. We will welcome an impressive host of Irelands top Country Music stars who will perform a total of 5 shows over the last weekend in November. The event which has already SOLD OUT in a staggering 5 days of being announced will welcome Country Music fans from all across the UK and Ireland with coaches travelling from Scotland and Northern Ireland. Event organizer James McGarrity said" There is a real keen appetite for the return of live music and dancing events following the pandemic outbreak , the Abbey hotel is a venue we know well and is ideally equipped and has all the facilities needed for an event of this scale. We could not believe the interest in the event which is already full and I along with all my team very much look forward to pulling out all the stops to make this the first of our planned annual events a roaring success." Attendees will stay in the Abbey hotel and will enjoy some fine Donegal cuisine and experience the super line-up of stars for 3 nightly and 2 afternoon shows.

Following years of planning JMG are delighted to announce " Country Fest in The Sun " which will take place at the luxurious 4star Zafiro Rey Don Jaime Hotel in sunny Santa Ponsa Majorca from Sunday 17th - 24th May 2020 for 7 nights of fantastic entertainment with a galaxy of Irelands leading country music stars . There will be fun filled pool side activities , afternoon dances , nightly shows , day trips and recreational outings in one of Europe's most popular holiday destinations. Fights run regular from all major UK and Irish airports direct to Palma, Majorca which is approximately 25minutes drive in a taxi to Santa Ponsa costing around €45 per car. ( Transfers can be arranged upon request )

We have partnered up with the Zafiro Rey Don Jaime Hotel for Country Fest in the Sun 2020. Enjoy the freedom of the festival on your doorstep and sunbathing so close to the friendly beach at Santa Ponsa.

The nearest airport is Palma Majorca. Hotel Zafiro Rey Don Jaime is about half an hour from the airport JMG Music Group can arrange transfers upon request for an additional cost. Otherwise a taxi from airport to hotel costs €50.
